There is a very active group of rug hookers in St. Louis, called the Naomi Miller St. Louis Guild of Rug Hookcrafters, affiliated with the National Guild of Pearl K. McGown Rug Hookcrafters, Inc.You can find plenty of experts in our area who can get you to the next level in your rug hooking; I have only met wonderful women, each with unique vision and eye for color, whether they are hooking primitive, traditional or whimsical rugs.All have been willing to share their knowledge, stories and passion for this art and I am awed by the beautiful rugs that they are constantly working on!!
We can also refer you to our local guild and to our local certified teachers for improving your skills; but please remember, rug hooking is a wonderful fiber art and it is very easy to learn and you can master the basics in a very short time!!
